OECD E-Leaders Meeting 2013


‌‌‌On 29-30 October 2013, the OECD and the Swiss Federal IT Steering Unit (FITSU) invited government technology leaders to Bern, Switzerland, in order to advance the global policy agenda on ICT Governance to deliver Public Value.


The aim of this meeting was to share lessons learned and develop policy guidance for governance and management of public ICT resources:
  • To address social and economic priorities,
  • To deliver public value,
  • To regain public trust.
Swiss Federal Chancellor Corina Casanova and OECD Deputy Secretary-General Yves Leterme opened the 2013 E-Leaders meeting. The meeting was chaired by Canadian Government CIO Ms. Corinne Charette. Senior government officials from OECD and partner countries were joined by representatives from international organisations, the private sector, academia and civil society to stimulate a discussion that reflected a wide range of stakeholder views.
