The third version of the PPP Reference Guide, the premier global guide for policy makers on PPPs, is now available. This latest version was created in collaboration with over 110 experts from 26 organisations worldwide, and now contains updated timely content on stakeholder engagement, environmental and social issues, private participation in infrastructure in fragile and conflict-affected states, Climate Change and natural disasters, Islamic finance, and much more.


The Guide is available online, searchable and downloadable from the PPP Knowledge Lab

 

Module 1 - PPP Basics - What and Why?

Provides and overview of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) - what they are, how they are used to provide infrastructure assets and services, their benefits, and their pitfalls.

Module 2 - Establishing the PPP Framework
Describes the elements of a sound legal and institutional PPP framework - that is, the policy, processes, institutions, and rules that together define how PPPs will be identified and implemented, and that promote good governance of PPP programmes.


Module 3 - Implementing PPP Projects.

Module provides guidance on each stage of developing and implementing a PPP project - from initially identifying candidate projects to managing PPP contracts through the project lifetime.
