OECD Databases and Indicators

• FDI Regulatory Restrictiveness Index

The FDI Regulatory Restrictiveness Index measures statutory restrictions on foreign direct investment in 55 countries, including all OECD and G20 countries, and covers 22 sectors. The data is available for the years 1997, 2003, 2006, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

• Services Trade Restrictiveness Index (STRI)

The STRI database provides internationally comparable current information on regulatory policies affecting trade in services. STRI currently covers computer services, telecommunications, construction, professional services (engineering, architecture, legal, accounting), transport (air, maritime, rail, road, courier), distribution and audiovisuals in 34 countries.
