Partners on regulatory reform in Southeast Asia

 

ADB (Asian Development Bank)

The OECD and ADB signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2013, since updated in 2018, that included an agreement to deepen and broaden collaboration on regulatory reform, among other topics.

ASEAN Secretariat

The OECD has a long-standing engagement with member states and the ASEAN Secretariat, working together on regulatory issues, which include, notably, the ASEAN-OECD Good Regulatory Practice Network.

APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation)

The OECD and APEC have a long history of collaboration on regulatory reform, including the APEC-OECD Cooperation on Regulatory Reform and the APEC-OECD Integrated Checklist on Regulatory Reform.

ERIA (Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia)

The OECD and ERIA signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 5 May to work on areas of common interest with the 10 ASEAN Member States.

 

ESCAP (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific)

The OECD and ESCAP signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 18 November 2013 to work together on regulatory reform, as well as investment and trade policies among other topics.
