The international conference on Implementation of Regulatory Impact Assessment in Russia was organised by the Ministry of Economic Development, World Bank, OECD and the Center of Strategic Research of the Academy for the National Economy and Public Administration.

The event gathered experts from international organisations as well as some foreign countries such as Denmark, the United Kingdom or Serbia with senior civil servants from various Russian ministries and representatives of stakeholders, namely major business associations.

The aim of the conference was to present recent developments in implementing Regulatory Impact Assessment in Russia and confront it with international experience. Special attention was paid to the issue of public consultations and involving stakeholders in the process of assessing impact of newly drafted laws and regulations.
