OECD Databases and Indicators

• Indicators of Regulation in Energy, Transport and Communications (ETCR)

The OECD indicators of regulation in energy, transport and communications (ETCR) summarise regulatory provisions in seven sectors: telecoms, electricity, gas, post, rail, air passenger transport, and road freight. The time series dataset covers the period between 1975 and 2008.

• Infrastructure Investment database

This database provides comparable cross-country information on infrastructure regulators, regulation and investment for the year 2007. Access the Data and Questionnaire.

• Services Trade Restrictiveness Index (STRI)

The STRI database provides internationally comparable current information on regulatory policies affecting trade in services. STRI currently covers computer services, telecommunications, construction, professional services (engineering, architecture, legal, accounting), transport (air, maritime, rail, road, courier), distribution and audiovisuals in 34 countries.
