• Indicators of Regulatory Management

The RMS indicators identify leading regulatory management practices and offer comprehensive insights into trends in regulatory reform. The data covers the years 1998, 2005 and 2008/2009.

 

• Measuring Entrepreneurship database

The database provides internationally comparable statistics on entrepreneurship and its determinants across OECD countries for the years 2008 and 2009, including indicators on the regulatory framework. 

 

• Non-manufacturing Regulations (NMR) Indicator system

The NMR indicators measure the regulatory stance in 9 non-manufacturing sectors as well as the “knock-on” effects of anti-competitive regulations in one sector on all other sectors of the economy.

 

• Indicators of Regulation in Energy, Transport and Communications (ETCR)

The OECD indicators of regulation in energy, transport and communications (ETCR) summarise regulatory provisions in seven sectors: telecoms, electricity, gas, post, rail, air passenger transport, and road freight. The time series dataset covers the period between 1975 and 2008.

 

• Indicators of Regulatory Conditions in the Professional Services

The OECD cross-section sectoral indicators measure regulatory conditions in the professional services and retail distribution sectors. The professional services indicators cover entry and conduct regulation in the legal, accounting, engineering, and architectural professions. Data is available for 1998, 2003 and 2008.
