GLOBAL WATER AGENDA
The OECD has been leading the governance theme at the world’s largest water event since 2012. Every 3 years, more than 20,000 participants from the international water community, including policy and decision makers, gather to discuss current water issues and spark positive change.
A Satisfaction Survey was conducted across the members of the OECD Water Governance Initiative to collect feedback on the first 2 years of activities (2013-2015), and to identify areas for improvement that would help shape the strategic orientations of the Initiative over the 2015-2018 period.
Report which takes stock of the first three years of activity of the WGI and suggests ways forward. The report builds on the results of the satisfaction survey and sessions of the WGI Steering Committee.
The inventory gathers more than 100 governance tools (water and non-water specific) related stakeholder engagement; performance & governance of water supply and sanitation; basin governance; and integrity & transparency
The inventory presents over 60 indicators, databases and maps and assessment tools on measuring water governance.
