An expert meeting on Senior Civil Service: Performance, Accountability and Organisational Success taking place at the OECD in Paris on 26-27 November 2015.
The 5th OECD High Level Risk Forum (HLRF) brought together policy makers from 30 governments, practitioners from the private sector and experts from think tanks and academia to share good practices with the aim to improve the governance and management of complex risks.
Mayors and ministers gathered for the 6th OECD Roundtable concluded that the solution to climate change will happen in cities. National governments alone will not be able to tackle environmental challenges, sustainable development should include cities and their governments as main stakeholders. Creating sustainable cities is a global agenda and Habitat III is an opportunity to shape the global urban agenda for the next 20 years.
This OECD joint Federação das Indústrias de São Paulo (FIESP) seminar brings together participants from the Brazilian private sector, academia, government authorities, and international experts with one objective: building a positive agenda for Brazil.
Ministers and cabinet-level officials from OECD countries and beyond will participate to help determine how we shape the policy cycle to deliver inclusive outcomes.

The seminar was held to support MENA countries in developing and reinforcing their ongoing open data efforts. The seminar took place at the Training Centre of Caserta in Italy, 19-20 October 2015.
The workshop will be held on 5-6 November 2015 at OECD Headquarters, Paris, France. his project aims to provide an assessment framework for resilience by exploring the drivers within its economic,social, environmental and institutional dimensions. It will also outline how innovative approaches of cities have helped build resilient communities, economy, institutions and environment.
The Capacity-Building Seminar on Citizens’ Participation in Costa Rica took place on 29 July 2015 in San José. The OECD built capacities of open government leaders from Costa Rica’s public service and civil society on ways to successfully consult citizens and involve them in policy design, implementation and evaluation.
The annual meeting of the OECD Schools of Government Network on the theme of Skills for a World Class Civil Service will be held on 6 July 2015, at the OECD in Paris.
