Use of Open Government Data in response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak

CALL FOR EVIDENCE

In April 2020, the OECD Digital Government and Data Unit together with the GovLab at NYU launched a joint call for evidence on the release and use of Open Government Data (OGD) by different actors (such as entrepreneurs, media, researchers, CSOs, and the public sector) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is an open and live repository and we invite you to take part in this initiative by adding or editing evidence that can help us understand how different countries and actors are using OGD in this situation.

COLLECTION OF PRACTICES

The initiatives collected through the joint open call and from the OECD Expert Group on Open Government Data will gradually (from June 2020) be displayed on the OPSI COVID-19 Innovative Response Tracker/Open Data. This is a collaboration between the OECD Digital Government and Data Unit, the GovLab at NYU and the Observatory for Public Sector Innovation (OPSI) for a user-friendly oversight on different open data initiatives related to COVID-19 across the world.

The OECD is compiling data, information, analysis and recommendations regarding the health, economic, financial and societal challenges posed by the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please visit our dedicated page for a full suite of coronavirus-related information.
