How can Kazakhstan improve its business climate?

The strong economic growth in Kazakhstan over the past ten years has been driven largely by the performance of its natural resource sector, with three-quarters of foreign investment concentrated in oil- and gas-related companies.

While Kazakhstan has made significant reforms, the country is still facing the challenge of diversifying its economy beyond the natural resource sector, to ensure sustainable growth and employment.
