At the Summit, Mr. Gurría will deliver remarks and participate in a Ministers’ Roundtable on "Attracting New Sources of Private Finance to Transport Infrastructure". He will also present an OECD Transport Working Paper: “Mobilising Private Investment in Sustainable Transport: the Case of Land-Based Passenger Transport Infrastructure”.
The Co-operative Research Programme (CRP)'s Call for Applications for conference sponsorship and research fellowships for 2014 is now open. The CRP supports work on sustainable use of natural resources in agriculture, forests, fisheries and food production.
The Secretary-General met with Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Heads of International Organisations to discuss the global economic outlook as well as policies to boost growth and employment in Europe.

International Conference organised by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the OECD, 6-7 October 2011, Berlin, Germany.
This workshop will help policy makers improve understanding of the environmental effectiveness and economic efficiency of agricultural policies, and evaluate measures that improve agriculture’s environmental performance, such as incentives for farmers to deliver public goods.
This event will bring together Ministers from over 50 countries and key players from business, research and civil society to focus on the essential role of transport within society and how it can continue to contribute to economic growth and community prosperity, Leipzig, Germany.
For many of today’s new biomedical innovations, the distinctions between different forms of medical products such as drugs, diagnostics and devices no longer apply. Biomedicine also tends to realize its potential today through process innovation, even more than product innovation.
