The OECD Secretary-General in Leipzig on 21 May 2014, to attend the Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Leipzig, Germany, on 21 May 2014, to attend the Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum.


The Secretary-General delivered remarks in the Forum’s opening plenary on “Transport for a Changing World: Thinking Beyond the Trends – Shaping Responses”. He also participated in this year’s Ministers’ roundtable on aviation, which focused on expanding airport capacity.


While in Leipzig, Mr. Angel Gurría presented a new OECD report on the “The Cost of Air Pollution: Health Impacts of Road Transport” at a press conference.
