Slovenia joins the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency

"We are very pleased to welcome Slovenia to the Agency,” said NEA Director-General Luis Echávarri. “Through its full membership, Slovenia will build on its past collaboration with the NEA to further contribute to the top international scientific, technological and legal expertise required for the safe, environmentally friendly and economical use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.”

Accession : Estonia, Israel and Slovenia invited to join OECD

OECD countries agreed today to invite Estonia, Israel and Slovenia to become members of the Organisation, paving the way for the Organisation’s membership to grow to 34 countries.

Roadmap for the Accession of Slovenia to the OECD Convention

OECD countries have given a green light for the start of accession talks with five prospective new members, notably Slovenia, signalling a new stage in the Organisation's drive to broaden and deepen its involvement with emerging new players in the global economy.
