This note presents selected findings based on the set of well-being indicators used for the Better Life initiative and shows what users of the Better Life Index are telling us about their well-being priorities.
Russia’s official statistics are compiled with a high a degree of professionalism and now have a solid legal basis, but their scope, timeliness and international comparability needs to be improved, according to an initial assessment by the OECD.
OECD membership will bring Russia a unique opportunity to exchange policy views with a wide range of countries, promote its perspectives on economic policy and benefit from the disciplines that OECD standards can bring.
