France Stratègie discussion of OECD report Getting Skills Right: France

The Co-operative Research Programme (CRP)'s Call for Applications for conference sponsorship and research fellowships for funding in 2018 is CLOSED. The CRP supports work on sustainable use of natural resources in agriculture, forests, fisheries and food production.
The OECD Headquarters was open to the general public for the Journées du patrimoine on 16-17 September 2017.
OECD Week 2017, that includes the Forum (6-7 June), the Meeting of the OECD Council at Ministerial Level (7-8 June), as well as other meetings, placed a central emphasis on "Bridging Divides" and on policies that could deliver a more inclusive globalisation, to respond to growing citizens’ concerns that globalisation has not benefitted fairly to all.
The OECD, the City of Paris and the Ford Foundation will host its second meeting in the fight against rising inequality in cities. The event will include sessions open to the public, drawing Mayors, business leaders, experts and policy makers, in addition to thematic workshops where our Champion Mayor will take to the stage to discuss subjects from affordable housing to integrating migrants and refugees.
Paris, 3 November 2016: This workshop focused on trends in green infrastructure financing; the role of banks, utilities and equity sponsors in financing green infrastructure; the role of institutional investors in establishing a secondary market for green infrastructure and unlocking investment and financing for green innovation.
This Global Forum, held on 24-25 October 2016, aimed to shed light on the links between environment and economic growth, and the toolkits to quantify these links. It provided a platform to explore how a well-managed natural environment can contribute to economic growth and how an effective and efficient regulatory system can best be designed?
Forum 2016, entitled Productive economies, Inclusive societies will be organised around the 3 cross-cutting themes of the OECD Week: inclusive growth and productivity, innovation and the digital economy, and international collaboration for implementing international agreements (COP21 and the Sustainable Development Goals) and standards (BEPS and automatic exchange of information).
The Secretary-General delivered opening remarks and served as co-vice-chair at the inaugural meeting of the United Nations High-Level Commission on Health Employment and Economic Growth.
