"Journées du patrimoine" at the OECD

 

‌OECD opens its doors

 

‌The OECD opened its doors for the 33rd edition of the Journées européennes du patrimoine, under the theme “Heritage and citizenship”.


This is the only time of the year when the general public can visit OECD Headquarters and the historic Château de la Muette.


Visitors learn about OECD and discover the heritage of this historical site deeply rooted in French history and the Kings of France.


The OECD was pleased to participate once again and to welcome you, your family and friends, on

 

Saturday, 17 September & Sunday, 18 September 2016 from 10:00 to 17:00

Guided tours of the Château de la Muette and its gardens in several languages: approximately 45 minutes.

The last tour left at 16:15


Following the tour, visitors were welcome to remain in the Château gardens and enjoy live music and refreshments provided by our team of volunteers as well as: 

  • a conversation with OECD experts and a unique opportunity to meet the OECD Beekeeper and learn more about this fascinating urban-green-initiative (see the full programme below)

  • a Knowledge Fair highlighting work across the OECD

  • an opportunity to get to know the OECD’s Better Life Index

  • activities for children

  • refreshments with proceeds going to the OECD’s War on Hunger group

 

The OECD closed its doors at 17:00.
