Politiques agricoles

Agricultural Policies and Development Indicators (APDI) for Africa

The APDI project aims to provide governments, aid donors and international organisations and researchers with consistent and comparable information on agricultural policies and development challenges in a range of African countries.

The project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is currently at a scoping phase and is due for completion by 30 November 2008. Following that, a submission will be made to the Gates Foundation for long-term funding.

The scoping phase of the project is being undertaken by the OECD in collaboration with the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). The exercise is being coordinated by Professor Hartwig de Haen of the University of Göttingen.

The purpose of this webpage is to keep participants in the APDI initiative informed of work underway during the scoping exercise.
