Following reports published between 2005 and 2007 on infrastructure needs to 2030 in telecoms, water, power and land transport, the International Futures Programme has completed work on future investment needs of key international gateway infrastructures: ports, airports, and their inland connections.

Upcoming event Transport IFP/IEA/ITF workshop on developing infrastructure for alternative transport fuels and power-trains to 2020-2030-2050: A cross-country assessment of early stages of implementation on 30 November 2012, organised by IFP in cooperation with the International Energy Agency and the International Transport Forum.
