Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Slovenia from 3 to 5 September 2017. He held bilateral meetings with Mr. Borut Pahor, President, and Mr. Miro Cerar, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, as well as with several Ministers, the President of the National Assembly and members of Parliament.
The Secretary-General presented the 2017 OECD Economic Survey of Slovenia, alongside Ms. Mateja Vraničar Erman, Minister of Finance.
Mr. Gurría attended the 2017 Bled Strategic Forum where he delivered remarks at the Leaders’ Panel.
The Secretary-General also opened a workshop for the launch of the OECD Review on Local Job Creation: Employment and Skills Strategies in Slovenia, co-organised by the OECD, the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, and the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
