The Winter Academy on Tourism management for UNESCO designated sites in natural areas offers training for policy makers, managers and professionals who are actively engaged in managing tourism in natural areas designated by UNESCO in the framework of one of its programmes (Heritage, Biospheres, Geoparks). It will take place on 24-29 November 2019 in the Dolomites, Trento, Italy.
The Academy is a training opportunity for young municipal administrators to acquire an open mind-set towards innovation on issues of integrated local development and programming. The course is reserved for young local administrators from Trentino and Triveneto, Italy.
The OECD Spatial Productivity Lab (SPL) is a dedicated research laboratory that works with local and global partners to improve our understanding of the spatial dimension of productivity growth, the relevance of links between different types of areas and how regional policy can facilitate productivity growth, creation of better jobs and increased well-being.
The Workshop focused on the Flemish and English support to old-age dependency and long-term care systems, through short presentations made by national experts on key issues and questions proposed by local administrators, followed by a critical discussion.
The OECD Spatial Productivity Lab organises 4 special sessions at the the 59th ERSA congress “Cities, regions and digital transformations: Opportunities, risks and challenges", which will host a large variety of themes in spatial, regional, and urban economics, economic geography, and regional policy topics like local governance and institutions
