Workshop: Management and leadership skills in high-growth firms (Warsaw, Poland)

High-growth firms, i.e. enterprises that grow rapidly over a short period of time, have drawn the attention of policy makers because of the large number of jobs they create. While it is uncontested that high-growth firms account for most job creation, there are fewer certainties about the features and characteristics of these enterprises or on how best they can be promoted by policy.

Promoting Growth in All Regions

Is growth possible in all OECD regions? Evidence suggests that it is. This report argues that helping underdeveloped regions to catch up with more developed ones will have a positive impact on a country’s national growth overall, and that such growth helps to build a fairer society, in which no region’s citizens are left behind.

Capacity building seminar: Strategic approaches to demographic change in Russia, Eastern Europe and OECD countries (Trento, Italy)

The seminar was targeted at national, regional and local practitioners who dealt with anticipating and managing demographic changes in Russia and Eastern European countries and wanted to interchange experiences and approaches with other experts from OECD countries.
