Conference: Shrinking cities in Europe (Essen, Germany)

The conference marks the conclusion of the 4 year European COST Action TU 0803 ‘Cities Regrowing Smaller’ (CIRES). The conference is organised by CIRES, the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the OECD LEED Programme within its Demographic Change & Local Labour Markets projects.

CONFERENCE: Promoting graduate entrepreneurship in higher education institutions in eastern Germany

This conference, hosted in partnership with the Federal Ministry of the Interior, is part of OECD LEED’s ongoing work on better understanding issues and policies around support for entrepreneurship education and business start-up support in universities.

Report: Delivering local development - New growth and investment strategies

The OECD LEED Delivering Local Development work stream examines the local and regional framework conditions and instruments for intervention to achieve successful local economic development in participating countries and localities. It covers strategic themes encompassing finance and investment, building the knowledge base, delivery vehicles and economic strategies (including the local development impacts from global events).

Promoting Growth in All Regions
