On 10-12 March 2010, a training workshop for the Iraq National Investment Commission on One Stop Shop Services for Investors in the MENA region was organised by the MENA-OECD Investment Programme. The workshop, which took place in Beirut, was organised in co-operation with the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL).
The OECD Benchmark Report on Improving Transparency in Government Procurement Procedures in Iraq provides a detailed analysis of public procurement legislation and practices on how to modernise this government activity which is vulnerable to fraud and corruption.
On 17-18 February 2010, the first meeting of the Working Group on Infrastructure Finance in Iraq was organised in co-operation with the Jordan Executive Privatisation Commision in Amman. The meeting was a follow-up to the Conference on Opportunities for Infrastructure Finance in Iraq, that took place on 21 November 2009 in Baghdad.

The training programme on investment promotion and media, jointly organised by the Jordanian Investment Board and MENA-OECD, took place in Amman on 26-29 January 2009 with the participation of nine officials from the Iraqi National Investment Commission (NIC).
