Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Mexico from 8 to 11 January 2018 on an Official Visit.
He held a meeting with Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico and several bilateral meetings with high level officials.
While in Mexico, the Secretary-General attended the Foro de Competencia y Regulación 2018, where he presented two OECD reports: Governance of Regulators’ Practices: Accountability, Transparency and Co-ordination and Competition Assessment Review of Mexico. (Read the speech)

Mr. Angel Gurría also delivered a speech at the XXIX Annual Meeting of Ambassadors and Consuls of Mexico.
At the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), he delivered remarks on the Global and Mexico Economic Outlook.
