Workshop on Innovation and the Environment, Paris (France)

Organised by the Working Group on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP)

The Workshop examined the role of environmental policy in stimulating environmental innovation and of innovation policy in enhancing environmental performance for sustainable economic growth and development. It discussed how environmental and innovation policies could be better designed to enhance the development and diffusion of innovations responding to environmental concerns.

The Thematic Workshop on Innovation and the Environment organised under the auspices of the Working Group on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP) was held on 19 June. Following the Workshop, the Working Group held its 15th Meeting on the 20-21 June.
