Peru’s Minister of Economy and Finance Mercedes Araoz officially launched Peru´s National Contact Point (NCP). The NCP is located in Peru's Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversíon) responsible for promoting observance of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. This event was attended by over 100 representatives from the Peruvian and foreign business communities, the diplomatic community and other stakeholders interested in Peru’s implementation of the Guidelines.
Minister Araoz stated that Peru’s adherence to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises is an essential component of Peru’s strategy to promote a vibrant and healthy business and climate and foster constructive relations between Peruvian authorities and the international investment community.
