Since 1993, the OECD has published Investment Guides for a number of economies in transition. These Guides identify areas of opportunity for (potential) foreign investors, provide information on the historical, political, economic, financial and legal framework, and serve as a source of reference, for investors as well as the countries' governments, to make a balanced assessment of the investment climate.
