However, reforms were found to be challenging due to the country’s increasingly fragile political situation and critical state of public finances. The involvement of the OECD to make change happen was requested in 2013 by Greece and the European Commission’s Task Force for Greece.

This study aims to assess the degree of institutional fragmentation of transport and land use planning in Chicago. It provides an overview of local governments in metropolitan Chicago and mechanisms for coordination. Five main challenges are identified.
