Jean-Marc Vittori is a lead writer for the daily newspaper Les Échos, where he specialises in macroeconomics and economic theory. He can also frequently be heard on the radio (France-Info, LCI, BFM, etc.) and is a member of the Association française de science économique governing board.
Born in 1958, Jean-Marc Vittori has a master’s degree in Economics and is a graduate of SciencesPo.. He has worked as an economic analyst for a national accounts service (in Ivory Coast) and in the forecasting agency of the Groupe L’Expansion, which he also directed. He was a journalist for 15 years for the magazines Le nouvel Économiste, Challenges and L’Expansion, which he edited from 2001-2002.
He wrote the Dictionnaire d’économie à l’usage des non-économistes and L’effet sablier published by Grasset.
