Founder and President
David Bessis is founder and president of tinyclues, a big data predictive marketing start-up based in Paris.
He started his career as a mathematician. After graduating from École normale supérieure (Paris) and completing a PhD in pure mathematics (University Paris 7, 1998), he conducted research in algebra & geometry at leading institutions (Yale University, CNRS, as well as visiting positions in Moscow and Kyoto).
In 2008, he took a break from academia to explore machine learning and digital marketing. He founded tinyclues in 2010, after realising that mainstream approaches to data-mining in relational databases were mathematically wrong.
The mission of tinyclues is to package state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms into high-impact business solutions that marketers can use in just a few clicks.
