The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to governments which would like to develop their own programmes to promote R&D in sustainable chemistry that take account of national priorities and policies.
This document intends to provide a “snapshot” of how OECD countries have developed and run their PRTR programmes. It shows the similarities and differences across countries in their requirements to collect and display high quality data, which is required for an effective PRTR system. It also presents compliance and regulatory requirements, the development of guidance material, and emerging issues and challenges for the future.
This Emission Scenario Document (ESD) is intended to provide information to be used for risk assessment for active substances and products used as biocidal (i.e. non agricultural) insecticides, acaricides and products to control other arthropods (in the EU, product type 18 [PT18] [1]). Biocidal products marketed as insecticides are used in many different applications. They may be used indoors (within buildings), outdoors (around

PRTR-to find out: What hazardous chemical substances and pollutants are being released to the environment or transferred off-site, how much is being released or transferred off-site over time, where the releases occur, and by whom.
This database was developed by the Task Force on PRTRs, which is part of the OECD's Environment, Health and Safety Programme. The purpose of this database is to share PRTR data as widely as possible within the OECD area.

The manuals and documents include descriptive information on the sources of pollution and the pollutants that are released, as well as information on emission factors, mass balance methods, engineering calculations, and monitoring
Recommande que les pays membres établissent ou renforcent leurs programmes nationaux de prévention, de préparation et d'intervention applicables aux accidents liés aux substances dangereuses.
