    En 2007, la France a consacré 11% de son PIB aux dépenses de santé, soit plus de 2 points de pourcentage de plus que la moyenne des pays de l’OCDE. Les dépenses de santé par habitant en France sont également plus élevées qu’en moyenne dans les pays de l’OCDE.
