This OECD report was presented at the G20 meetings in Washington on 13-15 April 2016. The report provides an update on recent developments concerning the OECD Code of Liberalisation of Capital Movements, in particular the launch of the review of the Code.

This paper explains the benefits of adhering to the OECD Code of Liberation of Capital Movements which is open for adherence by all countries with equal rights, privileges, and responsibilities.
The OECD has been collecting and analysing official insurance statistics since the early 1980’s. In response to the financial crisis in 2008, the OECD has been expanding the scope of its Global Insurance Statistics exercise in order to extend its global reach.
