The OECD Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices facilitates policy dialogue and information exchange between OECD Member countries and key partners on improving corporate governance of state-owned enterprises and implementing privatisation policies.
The Working Party was formed in 2001 to assist in the application of the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance specifically to state-owned enterprises. In support of this mission, the Working Party developed, and now oversees implementation of, the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises.
