The 2013 members of the jury

VC Secretary-General

Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD

Secretary-General of the OECD since June 2006, Angel Gurría has been an active advocate in the fight against youth unemployment, which he considers an “unmitigated tragedy”. The Secretary-General has called governments to focus their policy agendas on creating quality employment for the youth, and that youth organisations “must have a voice” in the process. As a jury of the 2013 Video Competition, the Secretary-General hopes that this will be an excellent opportunity to listen to youth voices and let their ideas about a new economic thinking be heard around the world.
