Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD will be in Athens, on 18-19 March 2019, to attend the OECD Ministerial Meeting of the Regional Development Policy Committee (RDPC) on “Megatrends: Building better futures for regions, cities and rural areas”, the 7th OECD Roundtable of Mayors and Ministers and the 4th Meeting of Champion Mayors for Inclusive Growth.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Helsinki on 14-15 March 2019 on an Official visit to Finland. He will deliver a Keynote Address at the Symposium to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Finland’s OECD membership “Will we stay on top? Finland’s next 50 years in the OECD”.
We live in a new era. Today, infrastructure should not only be sustainable by nature, it should also be gender conscious, by nature. The sustainable-gender infrastructure nexus has become essential for any development strategy and therefore essential for the 2030 Agenda.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Barcelona on 25 February 2019 to attend the Mobile World Congress. The Secretary-General will deliver a Keynote speech at the AI Innovation, Ethics and Diversity session. He will also deliver remarks at the Investing in the Digital Transformation Ministerial session.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Lisbon on 18 February 2019 to present the 2019 OECD Economic Survey of Portugal.While in Lisbon, the Secretary-General will hold bilateral meetings with high-level Portuguese Officials.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Dubai, UAE, on 10-11 February 2019 to attend the World Government Summit and deliver a keynote speech at the Plenary Session. The Secretary-General will also deliver opening remarks at the OECD Global Platform Governing Future Risks and launch the annual Embracing Innovation in Government report.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Bratislava on 5 February 2019 to present the 2019 OECD Economic Survey of the Slovak Republic, alongside Mr. Peter Pellegrini, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Davos, Switzerland, from 21st to 25th January 2019 to attend the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF).While in Davos, the Secretary-General will participate in several sessions and meet with several government and business leaders attending.
While in Mexico, he presented the Follow up Report on the Recommendations for Mexico’s E-Procurement System (CompraNet) and the Progress Report on the Integrity Review of Mexico.He also delivered speeches to present the IMSS Reports.
In Katowice, the Secretary-General will deliver remarks at the OECD High-Level Side Event New Climate Economy (Climate-Growth Nexus)as well asat the OECD‑UN Environment FI High-Level Side Event (Aligning Finance with the Goals of the Paris Agreement).
