    Promouvoir l'emploi des jeunes en Afrique du Nord

    Le taux de chômage des jeunes dans les pays d'Afrique du Nord est trois à quatre fois plus élevé que celui des adultes, soit 23% en moyenne. L'emploi des jeunes constitue une priorité essentielle pour assurer la stabilité et la prospérité dans la région. L’enjeu est de taille quand on sait que d'ici 2025, ce seront près de 10 millions de jeunes en plus qui arriveront sur le marché du travail dans la région, a souligné M. Angel Gurría.

    Launch of the OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook 2012-2021

    Increased productivity, green-growth and more open markets will be essential if the food and nutrition requirements of future generations are to be met. Governments should also renounce trade-distorting practices and create an enabling environment for a thriving and sustainable agriculture underpinned by improved productivity, said OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría.
