Laurence Evans leads Edelman Berland internationally outside the United States. Edelman Berland is the market research firm of Edelman, the world’s largest public relations firm with 66 offices and more than 4,500 employees worldwide. Mr. Evans is Senior Counsel on Edelman's Trust Barometer, a global study on trust and reputation across 26 countries now in its thirteenth year. His insights on Corporate Trust have been published in FT, The Economist and AdAge. Mr. Evans provides clients with counsel on how to build corporate reputation and trust. His clients include Unilever, Toyota, Chevron, Visa, PepsiCo, Syngenta and Aviva. Prior to joining Edelman Berland (formerly StrategyOne) in 2006, Mr. Evans was a Senior Vice President with polling firm Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates in New York. Prior to joining PS-B in 2000, Mr. Evans spent 19 years at Caltex Corporation, owned by Chevron, as an international General Manager. In his final role as Caltex’s GM of Strategic Asset Management, he oversaw a $ 1.6 billion portfolio of marketing assets across 9 countries. Mr. Evans holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
