Executive Vice-President, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)
Since April 2013, Tadayuki Nagashima has been serving as a Executive Vice President of JETRO. He is in charge of JETRO’s overseas research and IDE-JETRO. Before assuming this post, he served as Director-General of the Overseas Research Department (2011-2012); Invest Japan Department (2009-2011); and Internal Audit Office (2008). Prior to this, he was Director of the Research Planning Division of the Overseas Research Department (2005 -2008). Mr. Nagashima worked overseas at JETRO Mexico as Executive Director from 2000–2005. He also served as Second Secretary in charge of economic studies and economic co-operation at the Embassy of Japan in Uruguay (1989 -1992). Mr. Nagashima graduated from Sofia University and joined JETRO in 1979.
