Chairwoman, European Democrat Students
Eva Majewski is Chairwoman of European Democrat Students (EDS), the official student organization of European People's Party. EDS has 40 member organizations from 35 countries across Europe, represents 1.6 million students and is hence the biggest political student organisation. She lives in Brussels, where she works as a Research Associate for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the political think tank. She holds a Master’s degree in Science in Business Administration, Management, and Economics from Humboldt-University Berlin, Germany. Previously she had worked as Scientific Advisor in the German Bundestag in the fields of finance, taxation, and budgetary matters. She was involved in the preparations of the ESM as well as other programmes established to stabilise the euro zone. Her studies abroad led her to Siena, Italy; Washington, DC; and Johannesburg, South Africa. Moreover, she gathered work experience in Shanghai, China and she worked in Washington, DC for the Committee on Small Business in the House of Representatives, and for the Business Council for International Understanding.
