The OECD is testing 15 year-olds on their knowledge of personal finances and ability to apply it to their financial problems. This is the first large-scale international study to assess the financial literacy of young people.

A set of supplementary questions is also available. These are tried-and-tested questions across a range of relevant topics that can be used in addition to the core questionnaire to provide more detail at the national level.
This financial literacy questionnaire and accompanying guidance notes can be used to survey levels of financial literacy and detailed guidance on how to implement such a survey.
