The 5th OECD Forum on African Public Debt Management was held on 29 June-1 July 2011 in Midrand, South Africa. Discussions focussed on an exchange of information on ongoing activities regarding African public debt management and bond markets.
The forum brings together senior debt managers and other financial policymakers involved in public debt management and bond markets from both advanced and emerging market countries.
This annual forum is held under the aegis of the OECD Working Party on Debt Management and the Multilateral Public Debt Management Network and is sponsored by the Icelandic Government. This high level meeting initiates dialogue on key debt management policy issues, taking into account public debt management and bond market development needs and objectives from an African perspective.
Participation is by invitation only.
