Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Prague on 16 July 2018 on an official visit. He will present the 2018 OECD Economic Survey and the Environmental Performance Review of the Czech Republic.
The 2018 Summit addressed issues ranging from terrorism and cyber-security to road safety and extreme weather disruption, including the risks and benefits of automated driving. Safety and security are core concerns for transport. Enhancing transport safety and security is an essential element in the implementation of two major international agreements, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

This workshop, held on 25 October 2017, at the OECD Paris, brought together over 32 representatives from the biodiversity and development co-operation communities to share experience and insights on the key opportunities and challenges to mainstreaming biodiversity into development policies and planning and into development co-operation. Paris, 24-25 October 2017: Bringing together leading actors across the green finance community, the 2017 forum will focus on the short and long-term actions needed to meet the Paris Agreement; opportunities for green investment; the role of the financial system; and channels for green finance and investment.
26-27 October - The meeting was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, back-to back with the OECD Eurasia Week (23-26 October). It focused on infrastructure investment and the low-carbon transition; water management and productivity of key sectors; cross-Ministerial policy co-ordination for Green Growth; One Belt one Road initiative; environmental policy tools for green economy and education, communication and public awareness for green growth.
The Global Forum was held on 12-13 September 2017 to discuss the themes of the 2018 facilitative dialogue, transparency of mitigation action and climate finance, and accounting for NDCs; the Forum brought together approximately 200 delegates from both OECD and non-OECD countries.
