Economic and Finance Data in the EECCA

Updated time series data on key macroeconomic variables, public finance and financial sector in the former Soviet Union countries are available to download as an Excel file. The data were compiled from official data bases of international organisations that exchange statistical information with the OECD. The data sets for all 12 NIS countries include:

• Population,
• Total land area,
• Gross domestic product and Gross national income,
• Gross domestic fixed investment,
• General government expenditure,
• Central goverment revenue,
• General goverment tax revenue,
• Local goverment revenue,
• External debt (share of GDP),
• Foreign direct investment,
• Private sector (share of GDP),
• Domestic credit provided by the banking sector,
• Consumer price index.
