"Green and growth go very well together".

The OECD Green Growth Indicators chart the progress that countries make in four areas: environmental and resource productivity, natural asset base, environmental quality of life, economic opportunities and policy responses. 

A new set of patent data was published in March 2015. It refines the patent indicators used until that date. How many patents are actually registered? By whomm? How much do researchers collaborate across countries? How well are technologies disseminated and legally protected in foreign markets?

Information on environmentally related taxes, fees and charges, tradable permit systems, deposit refund systems, environmentally motivated subsidies and voluntary approaches used in environmental policy in OECD member countries and partners.

The 2015 publication updates the most downloaded publication in the OECD Environment directorate. 






Green Growth Indicators 2014 chart the progress that countries have made in four areas. It presents the Green growth indicators data available online with country comparisons and trends across times, as well as detailed notes and definitions. 

An update will be published in 2016. 










The OECD Factbook (2014)  contains a section on environmental data. 








 Environmental performance reviews are in-depth assessments of the environmental policies and programmes of OECD and key partner countries.

 Each environmental review gives direct access to all the graphs and data contained in the reports.
