“Working Together to Respond to Climate Change: Annex I Expert Group Seminar in conjunction with the OECD Global Forum on Sustainable Development”

Building from the success of three previous seminars with developing countries and the decision of the Annex I Expert Group at its last meeting, the 2006 event “Working Together to Respond to Climate Change: Annex I Expert Group Seminar in conjunction with the OECD Global Forum on Sustainable Development”, was held on 27 and 28 March at OECD's Paris-La Défense headquarters.

The IEA and OECD provide secretariat support to the Annex I Expert Group, which was established to address analytical issues related to the UNFCCC and issues related to the commitments of Annex I parties under the Convention. The Annex I Expert Group is chaired by Harald Dovland of Norway.

At least 30 of the 150 participants in this global forum came from non-Annex I countries.
