OECD Employment Outlook 2009
The 2009 edition contains an in-depth analysis of the current job crisis and also examines a number of structural aspects of OECD labour market developments, such as jobs and workers flows, in-work poverty, as well as the employment prospects of disabled persons.
The review comprises 16 country-specific reports on the challenges faced by young people entering the labour market and an assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of existing measures to improve the transition from school to work.
The OECD Secretariat is currently involved in reviews of activation policies in seven countries, with in-depth analysis of what national public employment services do to help the unemployed to enter or re-enter employment.
