The Centre will host the LEED-CEI Local Development Network, co-managed by the Central European Initiative.  The Network will seek to facilitate the exchange of experience among local development practitioners in OECD and CEI countries and identify best practices in local development initiatives.  The Network was launched at a workshop held as part of the CEI Summit in Warsaw in November 2003.  One first tool provided to assist the network will be a compendium of local development policy options and implementation strategies compiled on the basis of LEED research and accessible on the LEED Programme’s website (2004).
