OECD unemployment rate at 7.9% in August 2012

09/10/2012 - The OECD unemployment rate was at 7.9% in August 2012, broadly the same rate observed since January 2011.
In the euro area, the unemployment rate remained stable for the second consecutive month at 11.4%, following 13 months of continuous rises. However, the August level remains 4.1 percentage points above its record low of 7.3% in March 2008.
